Body hyperhidrosisis a pathology in which the body produces excessive sweating. The areas most affected by excessive perspiration in the body are the armpits, palms of the hands and soles of the feet, with axillary hyperhidrosis being the most common.

As with facial hyperhidrosis, the most effective method for eliminating excessive sweating is treatment to reduce the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that stimulates the sweat gland, thereby reducing excess sweat production.
