Spots or hyperpigmentation are due to an overproduction of melanin. They are caused by prolonged exposure to the sun without having taken any protective measures; by hormonal factors and by the passage of age. Depending on the type of blemish, it will be treated differently.

The good news is that most melanin spots or hyperpigmentation can be treated. First we will analyze the patient and the type of spot and then we will choose the best treatment for each case: Among the different treatments we will advise: chemical peels, IPL, photobiodynamic therapy with led light and depigmenting creams.

Even so, we like to remind you that the key to preventing skin blemishes and pigmentation is sun protection.
